NODES: MACSI-NET NODES ARE ACADEMIC INSTITUTIONS OR INDUSTRIAL COMPANIES, WHICH HAVE EXPRESSED INTEREST IN MACSI-NET ACTIVITIES.

MEMBERS: MACSI-NET MEMBERS ARE NODES (INSTITUTIONS, UNIVERSITIES OR COMPANIES) THAT HAVE A FORMAL MEMBERSHIP-CONTRACT WITH MACSI-NET.

Members

MEMBERS: A member is a node that has signed a membership agreement. At the start of MACSI-net 20 nodes signed such a membership agreement; presently MACSI-net consists of 24 nodes. One of the means of MACSI-net to support the network is funding for visiting MACSI-net activities. Persons belonging to a member are entitled to funding of their travelling , up to a certain amount; this amount may be up for a change. If the funds allow, the Executive Committee may allocate such travel funds to more (than the 20 initial) members in due course.
